Standard Chartered (2888.HK)is scheduled to release its 2015 results today. Markets estimate that the profit attributable to ordinary shareholders would range from a loss US$300 million to a net profit of US$1.192 billion. As the divergence is significant, we advise investors to maintain wait-and-see attitude.
International Energy Agency (IEA) said U.S. shale oil production could fall by 600,000 barrels per day (bpd) this year and another 200,000 bpd in 2017. Crude oil prices rallied, and oil related sectors may follow.
