Hong Kong Stock Market Summary .

U.S. Fed Reserve maintains the interest rates unchanged. HSI opened high 253 pts undertaking external frontiers but shed after following the mainland stock, closed at 24,497, dropped 121 pts. The main board turnover dropped to HK$80.17bn.

CHINALIFE (2628) issued positive profit alert, but the share price fell by 2.5% to HK$28.9, was the worst performer in blue chips. PING AN (2318) shed by 1.6%. Mainland bank stocks dropped, the Big 4 banks dropped between 0.6% and 1.8%. China Ever bright Group increased its holdings in CEB BANK (6818), and will continue to increase in the next 6 months, but the share price dropped by 2.3% to HK$4.26. Sport stocks performed well against the market trend, ANTA SPORTS (2020) rose by 1.4 % to HK$19.78, LI NING (2331) and XTEP INT’L (1368) rose by 3.5% and 4.3% respectively.
