Market Highlights
To ease sell-off pressure on the stock market, the China Securities Regulatory Commission yesterday banned substantial shareholders and senior management of listed companies to sell stake in the next six months.
Haitong Sec (6837.HK)announced to repurchase shares from both A and H-share markets at an amount up to 10% of the total issued share capital of the company. Repurchase price for H-shares will not exceed HK$17.18 per share. This may lend support to the stock price.The company will resume trading today.
