HIGHLIGHTS AHEAD
During the European session, we will be receiving consumer confidence readings in Germany and Italy; business confidence reading in France; April retail sales in Italy; as well as the CBI’s Distributive Trades Survey in the UK. In the US, the weekly MBA mortgage applications for the week ending June 20 is due, and thereafter 1Q14 GDP data, which should be revised even weaker to -1.8% from -1.0. At the same time, May durable goods orders for May will be released, followed by the flash Markit composite and services PMI data for June.
