SSE Composite wavered near 2000. The HSI swung between gains and losses yesterday, closing at 22,836, up 1 pts. The market turnover was HK$51.21bn.
LENOVO (992) jumped 3.4% to HK$9.44, the steepest gain in the HSI, after announcing net profit for the year ended Mar 2014 grew 29%. China allowed 10 provinces and cities to sell bonds on their own credit, leading gains in mainland banks. The Big 4 Banks rose by a range of 1.2% to 1.4%. The three major oil companies advanced. SINOPEC (386) rose 2.1% to HK$7.13. CNOOC (883) and PETROCHINA (857) climbed 1.4% and 0.2% respectively. LINK REIT (823) rose 2.5% to HK$40.95, after announcing the disposal of 4 shopping malls.
